400TU SG High Performance Thermal Curtainwall
Tubelite’s highest efficiency thermally broken curtainwall product has been designed to meet or exceed today’s stringent energy codes. The 400TU SG Series Curtainwall has a 2-1/2” face and offers screw-spline assembly.
In its captured glazed configuration, the 400TU SG pressure bar system can either be stick fabricated on site or assembled into shop glazed units for installation in the field. The design of the 400TU SG removes the need to attach the pressure bar and face caps from the building exterior as an additional step after installation of the shop glazed units.
The 400TU SG curtain wall system designed for low to mid-rise projects. It offers screw spline and shop-glazed construction where efficiency and quality are required. Shop glazing can be achieved by applying structural silicone around the perimeter of the glass, units that can then be transported to the site and hoisted into place.
System Features:
- Standard 7-1/2” (190.5mm) depth system have a 2-1/2” (63.5mm) sight line
- Outside glazed pressure-plate system available in captured and structural glazed configurations
- Pressure plates and face caps can be pre-installed in the shop, eliminating the need to go
outside in the field for this part of the installation - Standard infill option 1” (25.4mm)
- Thermally broken using a continuous dual polyamide strut assembly
- Concealed screw spline fastener joinery creates smooth, monolithic appearance
- Two-piece expansion vertical & two-piece “stacking” horizontal members
- Can be shop-fabricated and pre-glazed/unitized for improved labor savings
- Silicone compatible glazing materials for long-lasting seals
- Captured & SSG inside and outside corners available
