Tubelite Inc. will be relocating from its previous Dallas address to the Mesquite Distribution Center 3 in Mesquite, Texas. The transition will be completed by mid-October 2019. Driven by current demand and the ability to support future growth, this facility expands the company’s workspace from 47,500 square feet to 126,000 square feet. The new layout, which was influenced by employee input, will utilize the cross-dock feature of the building and will emphasize continuous material flow and increased production efficiencies.

Tubelite’s operations manager, Jim Gonzales, said, “The larger facility provides Tubelite with room to grow from one shift into three over the next several years. The additional production capacity will also support our ability to add more Damage-Free Guarantee (DFG) routes to serve a larger customer base.”

This move comes on the heels of Tubelite’s expansion in Walker, Michigan, which added 30,000 square feet to the fabrication, warehouse and shipping operations. Additionally, the location in Reed City, Michigan, continues to operate as the company’s aluminum extrusion plant, and administration offices remain in Warwick, Rhode Island.
